Standard Bank Lighting Project

Standard Bank Data Centre selected FSD to implement energy saving initiatives and register them for an Eskom IDM rebate project during 2013. All work was completed within the projected contract period, which included the:

• Replacement of all 50W Halogen lights with 5W LED down lights and all T12 & T8 fluorescent light fittings with T5 fluorescent light fittings and
• Installation of occupancy sensors

Due to ITS, Standard Bank Data Centre is saving on well over R 500 000 each year, and over 250 000 kWh of power, a return on investment in excess of 64 percent over 19 months.
